Aurora C. Vecchio

Aurora C. Vecchio is an Associate Attorney at Rifkin & Fox-Isicoff, P.A. She practices in all areas of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. Currently, she works primarily with employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, including H-1B and O-1 visa petitions, PERM process, L-1A visas and EB-1c green cards. Additionally, she is experienced in removal proceedings and humanitarian relief, having prepared numerous asylum applications, waivers, and Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) petitions.

Aurora was born and raised in Sicily, Italy. Wishing to become an attorney since childhood, she pursued studies in classic and humanistic subjects and then enrolled at the University of Catania, School of Law. Upon graduation, she moved to New York to study English, which then led her to undertake a legal internship in Washington, D.C. before pursuing a Master’s of Laws (LL.M) at the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law.

It was during Aurora’s studies in Maryland that she discovered her passion for immigration law. She was fascinated by the complexity of this area of practice, which she often compares to a puzzle with a continually growing number of pieces. She also enjoyed the potential for helping those who - like her – were seeking opportunities in a foreign country.

After an interlude in Germany, Aurora returned to the United States in May of 2019, working as a law clerk for NY-based immigration boutique firms.

Aurora is licensed in the state of New York and is a member of the New York Bar Association.
